Preview: Chinnor v Albion

The season draws to a close with Albion making the trip to Chinnor.

After a really good start, which saw them beating Albion on the opening day of the season, Chinnor were one of the front runners in the league. Their form has sadly deserted them as they have slipped down to 10th in the league - safe, but perhaps a little disappointing.

A win for them could potentially see them rise to 7th, one place below Albion. If Albion win they may overtake Rotherham - who are away to Old Elthamians - to claim 5th.

Chinnor's threat will come from the backs, particularly the wingers who have claimed nearly a third of the 94 that they have scored.

A more even mix between backs and forwards have scored tries against them but noteably they have conceded 6 penalty tries.

In terms of discipline Chinnor have a slightly better record in terms of cards (18 to Albion's 22), they have also scored over a third of their points through the boot (Albion about a quarter).

Former Albion players currently with Chinnor are Tom Jubb and Ricky Cano.

Player to watch - Winger, Craig Holland.

Weather for Saturday: Light showers, breezy and a little chilly.

Forecast: Despite having a poor away form, Albion will have the benefit of a sizable away support and would be wanting to overturn the season's initial fixture. BP win for Albion.

Nicely researched.

I think a narrow win for Albion will be the result.

I wonder if thee will be any announcements on who is staying/going at the end of the game.

Well researched,Igwok, as usual and a good read.I'd love us to get the "away" monkey off our backs. If so, a B.P. win should be on the cards.

Cameron Setter comes back into the team, which also has Frank Kelly added. They replace Snow and Arnott.

James Love is on the bench.

Chinnor have not released their team or a match preview as yet, but their website does show recent form for both teams.

As can be seen, Chinnor's form has been poor of late, whilst Albion's is mixed.

Hopefully an away win coming up.
