Match Preview - Albion v Chinnor
By Igwok
November 22 2019
Albion's next opponents are Chinnor who announced their presence in National 1 by spanking Albion 26-10 at the Brickfields last season.
They then went on to impress in the first half of that season before fading to finish a respectable 10th.
At present they are sitting in 5th place, 7 points and 7 places ahead of Albion.
Like Albion, they have been inconsistent, but will be looking to extending a mini-run of unbeaten games to four.
Chinnor's main threat appears to come from their backs with the capability to penetrate defensive lines although this threat may diminish as the game goes on. Albion will need to keep their wits about them if they want to keep them out.
The rain should clear away well before the game starts, by no doubt it will be wet underfoot. There won't be too much of a wind, nor will it be chilly (8°) so it may be that penalties win the day.
Given Albion's better performances, and a home fixture, this should be a win, but discipline will be key. Forecast 24-19.
