Shocking!: England lose Adelaide match

England cricket fans all around the globe will be waking up to the news that England have lost the 2nd test match after it looked certain to be heading for a draw. Australia now go up 2-0 in the series and it is now looking too hard for England to get back into it.

England now face the unbearable task of winning two of the next three Test matches to tie the series and retain the Ashes urn.

England lost 9 wickets for 60 runs with Shane Warne the key bowler with 4-49. England will be disgusted in some of the shot selection they chose which has let them down yet again.

Andrew Strauss will feel unlucky as his wicket as the man at short leg took a catch which only came off his pad on not pad and bat.

England just sank after this wicket, a quicker ball from Warne opted Bell to take a quick single but the sharpness of Clarke ran him out at the non-strikers end.

Pietersen's shot selection will be questioned again as he chose to sweep Warne and was bowled round his legs after the ball turned out of the rough.

Freddie was next in a looking to make a mark, this was not the case. He bad use of his feet was evident and he poked out side his off stump and was dismissed by Lee.

Jones was next out as he went for a widish ball from Brett Lee which he could have easily left, straight to the fielder at gully.

Next to fall was Gilo as he chipped a Shane Warne ball to slip.

Steve Harmison and James Anderson were next to go as they both fell LBW from Glenn McGrath who managed his first wickets in the match.

Australia came out with some aggressive shots but due to this aggression they lost Langer and Hayden early on. But the runs needed were low and this was the strategy they needed to take.

Ponting made 49 but eventually, with a Flintoff bowling through the pain barrier, Australia won with Hussey hitting the winning runs.

2-0 down in the series has really left England in a mess and our realistic target is now to draw the series but it will take a lot of grit.
