Ashes tickets are once again the hottest commodity on the Australian market. A fresh batch of tickets was made available in Australia today for the 3rd, 4th and 5th Tests, to be played in Perth, Sydney and Adelaide respectively.

All of these tickets were sold within 2 hours, sparking fears that the majority will end up on the black market.  Australian officials have moved to counter this by limiting the amount of tickets available per person from 10 to 4.  Tickets for the 1st Test, in Brisbane are available tomorrow, and Melbourne’s Boxing Day 2nd Test tickets go on sale from Wednesday. Many England fans are expected to travel without tickets, and may have to make do with seeing the Twenty20 game in Sydney or the One-Day International Triangular Tournament involving England, Australia and New Zealand. There are still tickets available for both of these tournaments.
