Sidwell strike gives Brighton victory

A Steve Sidwell strike gave Brigton a much-needed victory over Norwich at Carrow Road. Sidwell, who is on loan from Arsenal volleyed home after a corner on the 38th minute.

Brighton had the better of the first half and took the lead in the 38th minute when Sidwell volleyed in a corner.

Gary Holt should have equalized four minutes after half time but he blazed the ball over the bar after an Easton corner. Kuipers then saved Zema Abby’s header late on to give Brighton their third win of the season.
