Who Should the New Manager Be?

One of the most important questions of the pre-season is just that. Who should lead the Seagulls into the first Division? The most obvious suggestion is Bob Brooker, Assistant Manager to both Micky Adams and Peter Taylor. Of course, many people have different views on this situation. My personal favourite for the post would be former manager, and current Arsenal Youth Team coach, Liam Brady. One of the best mid-fielders of all time, and a great Irish International in his day, Brady was manager of the Albion during the much harder times, both on and off the pitch, financially and socially, for the club. He had to leave due to a disagreement with then Chairman Bill Archer. Surely Dick Knight would have him back?

Few managers are currently unemployed or out-of-contract, so the most obvious place to look would be at the ranks of ageing Premiership Players, who would be more than willing to take a player-manager job at a First Division side for their final few playing years. One name suggested is former England captain, Tony Adams of Arsenal. But many others would also be suitable. Your opinions on the forum, please.
