Brighton lost 1-0 to Tranmere today, with Richard Carpenter conceding the winning penalty, as well as receiving his fifth yellow card of the season...

Carpenter conceded two penalties this afternoon in the match against Tranmere Rovers, as well as picking up another yellow card. This means that he will have to miss the Albions home match against Oldham.

Although Ben Roberts managed to hold one of the penalties, the other slipped past him. This, coupled with no goals from the Albion meant that the three points went to Tranmere and the Seagulls slipped to fourth in the tables, behind QPR, Plymouth and Barnsley.
