Brighton won 2-1 today at the Withdean, despite Bury scoring two of the goals. A 25th minute OG by Kenny, coupled with Zamora’s 45th minute penalty cancelled out Preece’s 68th minute goal. Despite this victory, Reading 2-0 victory away at Chesterfield leaves the top of the table the same; with Reading 2 points clear of the Albion. This match is another nail in the coffin of the Shakers, who now appear destined for the drop to the 3rd. Bury have recently been granted financial protection until after the season end by the British High Court.
