Transfer Rumours Go On....

The transfer rumours at Priestfield go on with the Gills being linked with another player. Also, a Gillingham player has also been linked with a departure from the club.
After being linked with the loan signing of Chester striker Micheal Branch yesterday, Gillingham have been linked with another signing and also a departure.
Lets start with the arrivals lounge, and after Ronnie Jepson claiming he wants to sign a new 'keeper as cover for Kelvin Jack, rumours are saying that Northampton Towns Lee Harper is on the verge of a deal at Priestfield. The Cobbler's stopper claimed he was on his way to Priestfield after being left out of the starting line up at sixfields on Saturday. Northampton ended up losing the game by one goal to nothing to Nottingham Forest. It is claimed the ex Sittingbourne stopper handed in a transfer request and said the he was joining the Gills.
Moving onto the departure lounge and it looks like Andrew Crofts could be on his way out of Priestfield. It is reported that Stoke City are interested in the Welsh Under-21. But it is reported that Stoke are unlikely to get him after Scally falling out with Pullis whilst he was at Gillingham. But due to the financial situation, should a decent offer be put in Scally may have to swallow his pride and allow Crofts to link up with former Gills stiker Mamady Sidibe.
Another club interested in the promising midfielder is Crystal Palace, again managed by another former Gills boss. But this one is on the right side of Scally! Peter Taylor recently tried to send Julian Speroni on loan to Gillingham, before the players agent pulled out of the deal. But should Palace match an offer made by Stoke, I wonder who's offer shall be accepted???
