Gillingham face Northampton Town at Priestfield this Saturday, with the Gills looking for their second consecutive home victory. The Gills go into the game with just one victory this season coming from the only home fixture.
Northampton are now managed by former Gills boss John Gorman. Gorman was favourite to get the Gills managerial vacany following Andy Hessenthalers resignation, but chose to go for Wycombe. Northampton were promoted last season in an automatic promotion spot, then managed by Colin Calderwood.
If you are going to the game on Saturday, you must be warned that the new Gills kit is going on sale on Saturday, so expect a packed Gills megastore before kick off. It is advised that any neccesary trip for tickets or new shirts should be made in the morning.

Fomer Gills boss John Gorman shall have to do without star man Scott McGleish for the trip to Kent, after he was sent off against Nottingham Forest last weekend. The Cobblers appealed against the ban, but the FA turned it down. The Cobblers are also without the services of defender Fred Murray who is suffering an achilles injury, and midfielder David Hunt who has been sidelined due to a groin injury.
Northampton Town Man To Watch: Andy Kirk - The Northern Ireland international scored seven goals in just ten appearences during his debut season at sixfields, he has now scored eighteen goals in total for the Cobblers. He has already got off the mark this season, after scoring in the two goal draw with Crewe on the opening day.
