Warnock keen on Gills target

Paul Gerrard who had been linked with a move to Gillingham has caught the eye of Premiership boss Neil Warnock. Paul Garrard was linked with a move to Gillingham with only one permenent goalkeeper who is injured.

Speaking to the BBC, Warnock said, "I know Paul, he's been with us before and it seemed silly that he is not training with anyone.

"I have not seen him yet. So if anything is to happen then it will depend on his condition."

Warnock went on to say: "It's a case of nothing ventured, nothing gained.

"We've not been able to find a third goalkeeper."

I had been claimed that Paul Garrard was on the verge of completing a move to Gillingham but now it looks like he shall become Sheffield UTD's third choice 'keeper.

Garrard is free to make the move outside the transfer window as he is a free agent.
