Gillingham's coming up match at Ashton Gate in League One against Bristol City will be a very important one for the Gills as it can get them closer to the play-offs and will set the tone for the 2nd round of the FA cup match also against the Robins at Ashton Gate.

The game comes for Gillingham after four wins in a row, howevever the form has not quite been so good for Bristol City after only clinching three points from the possible nine in their last three league games.

In a week where Gillingham Chairman Paul Scally has turned down a record breaking offer for star player Matthew Jarvis reported to be around £250,000. Manager Ronnie Jepson said "He's a big part here, I don't want him going anywhere.'
Matty Jarvis started for the Gills three years ago in which he has scored fifteen times and also had many assists running down the wing with pace.

There has also been news of league one clubs Brentford and Bradford City trying to chase former Gillingham loanee Tommy Black from Crystal Palace.
