Ipswich boss Jim Magilton has mentioned his interest in Rotherham striker Will Hoskins. The youngster has scored 13 goals this season and has been linked with several over big name clubs over the past week.It has been suggested that Ipswich were lining up a £600,000 January move for Hoskins, and the Ipswich boss has now admitted that he is a player he admires.
"Hoskins is someone we like. Steve McCall watched him on Saturday and we have talked about him, but he is one of many players we are looking closely at," he told Sky Sports.
Tranmere Rovers have put down any suggestions they are to become a feeder club to Liverpool under the proposed takeover of reds. The Prenton Park club were thought to be part of the plans laid out by possible new owners Dubai International Capital investment group to become a feeder club for the club from Anfield.
Blackpool have made their first January signing in the form of Latvia international Kaspars Gorkss.
The 25-year-old is expected to complete his move to Blackpool on the 1st of January when his contract with recently-crowned Latvian champions Ventspils, expires.
