Vandanel kits: Mixed Reviews

Gillingham have a new kit supplier to replace the outgoing Uhlsport, but is Vandanel is good choice? We have had poor reviews from Tranmere Rover's fans about the kit supplier, but Vandanel's Leyton Orient kit won an award for its design last season.

Tranmere Rovers have not had a good experience with the Vandanel kits. Fans even went as far to start a petition to have the contract with Vandanel ended with immediate effect, with about 150 fans adding their signature to it. One Tranmere Rovers fan Mike Burrows, said:
"I think the quality is pretty poor. There is nothing wrong with any of the kit designs, in fact there quite good, but the quality of the material is awful. All the shirts pull very easily. Some peoples black shirts have gone pink, where its meant to be white!! Also the Yellow kit is like wearing a tent, the material is horrible."

However, Leyton Orient have enjoyed Vandanels supply of kits. Vandanel even won an award for their 05/06 Leyton Orient kit. Vandanel won an award for it design of its kit from The Football League.

Gillingham will join Leyton Orient, Northampton Town, Port Vale and Tranmere Rovers using Vandanel's kits in League One.
