No Season Ticket News until June

Gillingham fans will have to wait until June the earliest for news on next season's ticket prices. Scally met with the clubs bankers last Thursday and would only say that the outcome of the meetings was 'excellent'.

As well as revealing to the Kent on Sunday that the season ticket prices will not be unveiled to Gillingham fans until June at the earliest, he also revealed that he aims to reveals the clubs new stadium plans before the start of next season. Don't build your hopes up though, we have had the same announcement by Mr. Scally several times before.

Speaking to the KoS, Mr. Scally said: " Last season we put season tickets on sale arly because we needed to raise the cash. This year we are bettered structured as a business so we don't need to repeat that.

"I've got plans for the season tickets, but I'm not ready yet to go public on them. They will not be released until June.

"Our prices are quite low anyway and we reduced them drastically last season. I am currently looking at different ways to be creatives. I have no doubt we will be radicial again in our approach."

Scally once again revealed his aspirations to get Gillingham back into the Championship at the third time of asking next season. With Ronnie Jepson on a scouting mission to Scotland apparently watcing St. Johnston's Jason Scotland. Scally believes that summer signings improving the quality of the squad will give The Gills' a decent chance of getting back into the second tier of English football.

Scally said: " I think there is every reason to be confident next season. I think there's a lot to look forward to."

The Gillingham chairman then had a rant at Gillingham goalkeeper Kelvin Jack. The Trinidian has made just over 10 appearences for the club and Mr. Scally has been disappointed that he has spent more time in the teams medical room. Scally said: " Given the football we play and the way we dominated lots of games and led teams I think we could have done a lot better. But there are reasons for that and of course the instability between the sticks is probably the biggest issue to having had a disappointing season.

"Kelvin Jack is contracted to the medical room - he's spent more time horizontal than vertical this year. I have no idea if he will be fit again for next season."

Jarvis looks almost certain to leave the club at the end of the season, despite rumours that he told Gillingham fans after the game at Bournemouth that he wants to stay. Scally said: " I don't expect him to be staying - there's a lot of things goin gon with him right now. I'm just concentrating on the end of the season and taking things from there."
