Gibson Agrees New Contract With Rhinos

Ashley Gibson, 20, has agreed a new three year contract with Leeds which will keep the born and bred star at Headingley Carnegie until the end of the 2009 season.

With young Ashley only breaking into the first team in 2005, his succesful career has continued with the rewarding of a new, three year contract bringing him till the end of the 2009 season. Ashley is one of the brightest young stars in the team as he was selected by Paul Cullen for last year’s successful Federation Shield campaign, playing in three different positions in the tournament including starting at hooker in the Final against Tonga. He featured in every game and scored two tries in the win over Tonga at the Twickenham Stoop.
