September 07/08
| 1st | Chiefs v Sedgley Park | 48 - 11 | 1st |
The first month of the season saw the Chiefs open up with a free scoring victory over Sedgley Park at Sandy Park and head the table for the only time in 07/08. Chiefs end the month in 3rd place, their lowest position of the season.
| 8th | Albion v Chiefs | 19 - 28 | 3rd |
The second game was memorable for Danny Gray's drop goals which helped consign Plymouth Albion to a home defeat.

This one wasn't dropped!!

A South Seas conversation
| 15th | Chiefs v Rotherham | 62 - 10 | 3rd |
Rotherham Titans arrived at a sunny Sandy Park only to get hammered by a ruthless performance from the Chiefs forwards and backs.

Yappy first touch of ball (blood replacement)
| 22nd | Moseley v Chiefs | 3 - 36 | 2nd |
The Chiefs continue the winning ways with an away win at Moseley.
| 29th | Chiefs v Bedford | 27 - 6 | 3rd |
They end the first month undefeated with a home win against Bedford Blues.
