Chiefs lose by one point to Saints on a VERY Windy evening at Sandy Park
Exeter Chiefs 16 Northampton Saints 17
Well Sandy Park's reptation as a windy place to play rugby went up a few notches yesterday! Those present on the pitch deserved great credit for delivering an enthralling game under atrocious conditions. Both sets of fans should also take praise for their support, I don't think I've heard a more concerted Tomahakchop than towards the end of the match. Although there were mistakes a plenty the teams went hammer and tongs at each other for the full 80 minutes. OK, the Chiefs started too slowly but Sanits really came to attack them with the promise of top spot in the Prem on offer should they win. A full report will follow...

We need to start games better, catch up rugby is difficult in good conditions, but an early yellow card and a gifted second try cost us this game!
