Saints marching to Sandy Park but will they be trudging home?
The big games keep coming and they don't come much bigger than this one! Having booked a European Challenge Cup semi-final v Glaws with a thumpinf of Falcons the Chiefs return to Prem action with a bang. Today we face last season's champions and first placed team, who will be smarting after their poor showing at Clermont. Chiefs know only too well how that feels having also suffered at the hands of Clermont. However a victory today will see Chiefs back into fourth and a play-off spot as Tigers didn't get anything from their visit to Sarries. Even a losing bonus point will secure fourth as our points difference is far superior to Tigers.
Chiefs were victorious at The Garden's so will also be looking to complete the double over Saints for the first time. As we well know Chiefs love making things happen for the first time in their history and I'm hopefull today will be another landmark. We also remember how Chiefs fared in the last high profile v Saints at Sandy Park so more of the same please.

A losing bonus point may be enough to get us back into the top four now but, in the long run, it won't really do if we want still to be there at the end of the season. Winning our two home games is the minimum we need and, ideally, one of the two away games. I don't ask much! But I am confident we can do it. If we play as we did against Newcastle, weathering storms and taking our chances when they arise before piling on the pressure, we can beat anyone, anywhere.
We need to get off to a good start, once top teams get in front they tend to hold on to the lead and build on it. We played all the rugby against Tigers in the last round but gave away kickable penalties all game and it cost us. We were clinical against the Falcons and we need to be the same today. We have to at least hold our own in scrum and our line-out has to be 100% if we are to have a chance against a team that have not been at their best of late but are still top of the league.
