The Chiefs were left empty handed following their visit to Swansea where Dan Biggar played a major part in their defeat.  Head coach Rob Baxter was clearly frustrated by his side's uncharacteristicly tentative performance.  

This was even more unexpected given the way the Chiefs have attacked each of the 4 Premiership games this season and their high standing in the League.  However there's nothing likelier to bring you back down to earth with a bump on a wet and windy Swansea eevening than a team studded with returning Internationals.  I wasn't at the game but listened to John Lockyer and Nigel Walrond, who were puzzled by the Chiefs insistence on kicking posession away and a general ability to make unforced errors.  My impression was of a Chiefs side playing more as individuals rather than the unified force we are used to seeing.  The defeat means Saturday's game v Bordeaux is of increased importance if Chiefs are to progress in the tournament.  I'm looking foirward to the game and roaring on the Chiefs from The Library.
