Avoid withdrawal symptoms; Weekend rugby on TV
By Osmium
December 18 2020
Sadly, the Toulouse match preview offered by Chief Redwine is now a little redundant. We must wish all those affected by Covid-19 at the club a full and speedy recovery. So, having no Chiefs game to watch, those who want to avoid rugby withdrawal symptoms have a few games to choose from. Courtesy of, and with kind permission from Glen Hoddle over on the Saints' board, here is a schedule of matches due to be on TV this weekend. If you're feeling nostalgic you could always go on Youtube and download some footage of Chiefs' past victories. Or you could watch the Newcastle game, who seem to be playing very much like Chiefs were a few years ago (and how many at other clubs seem to think we still do!). As far as I can see, the Chiefs Womens game is not available to watch live, but I'm sure the Club's Twitter feed will relay the scores. Enjoy, and lets hope we can be back in action next week.

Will the rest of the schedule survive the weekend I wonder?

Thanks for this Osmium but you have omitted The Chiefs Women's game against Sale Sharks which is live at Sandy Park. Kick off 2 o'clock tickets were I believe still available earlier today.
Well I did comment on it. I also mentioned that I couldn't see it being shown on TV anywhere. But you're quite right it is definitely live at Sandy Park. I'd like to be there myself but I have other commitments tomorrow.
And you're welcome.

I just re-read the item and I kinda see what you mean. My wording could definitely have been better, and could have used the opportunity to promote the game!
In mitigation, I did it all in a bit of hurry while at work, in an effort to put an article up in time to prevent us losing the message boards again for a few days.

You missed a great game Osmium, we have been spoilt by recent Chiefs performances but the women didn't disappoint . They looked like a Chiefs team and dominated Sale in all facets of the game. They now have to play teams at the top of their league you wont want to miss them!
