See Lukes name on the bench is a bit of a shock.
I thought he was knocked out in last Saturdays final and I thought I read he would be out for a couple of weeks?
Obviously he must have passed all his assessments and must be good to go. Good news 👍
Good luck to all our boys involved

Kyran Bracken is of the same opinion on Rugby Pass!

Hoggy appears to have had a good game but Jonny H less so. FOUR Chiefs on the field at the end of the game. Who would have imagined that 10 years ago?

I thought Johnny Hill had a good game. I was watching him closely and he was a nuisance around the ruck and defended well. I would have liked to have seen him with ball in hand a bit more but apart from that I thought he had a solid outing.

I've only been able to watch the highlights so am more than happy to be wrong. He never looks the most graceful but he can make an enormous nuisance of himself at rucks.

Oh yeah he won’t shine in the highlights but he did the hard graft well and made a menace of himself. Hogg played very well as you said, solid under the high ball and great attacking and defending prowess. Luke looked as comfortable as ever when he came on- I think he would have started if it weren’t for his blow to head last week. Simmonds grew into the game when he came on- the nerves showed in the first 5-10 minutes but he settled into the game in the end. I am hoping he’ll get a start on Wednesday.

plus one, work very hard, 2 penaltys against being his down side. Our players only joint up last week and not had the training some had for playing in South Africa.

Hogg played well and it feels like Chiefs do not get the best out of him, Daly like LCD looked good but against a tired team by then.

I didn’t see Hill being used in any of the lineouts. Seemed to always be Itoje (calling the lineouts) or Lawes. That aside, a solid performance from him.
