Chiefs 32-24 Briz - continue to be optimistic that we'll stop them gaining a losing bp
In Rob we trust.
By the way - cream on first. There's nothing to debate.

Worried re our front row and penalties and our missed tackle rate recently with Radradra playing; so I think it will be close. Lineouts should be OK though providing darts OK. Could go either way but going with heart in my moved grandstand seat. Bristol 32 Chiefs35.

Bears unpredictability to usurp Chiefs predictability. Also Bears have very good recent memories of Sandy Park. Chiefs 21 Bears 31 really want to be wrong and taken to task!

Nathan Hughes finds Sandy Park a happy hunting ground. Is it 3 MoM with Wasps and Bristol there.? OTOH he did not look at fighting weight last time I saw him on tv so he may not be match fit.
Our problems are likely to start in the front row where the Briz posters think they are light yet they stood up to the power of Tigers really well last weekend. I think our weakness at TH will come back to bite us providing Briz with lots of target practice. Sheedy to get 10 in the bin for gobbing off to Mr Pearce , but otherwise Chiefs 20 Briz 41.

Happy New Year everyone .
There are a lot of things in our favour today.
No Luatua for them is a big loss for them.
Bris had a hard game last weekend and have only had a 5 day break.
We have had a couple of weeks off to refresh and come back a lot more motivated than we appeared at Glasgow.
If we play like we did there,we have no chance.
Hopefully now that the air is clear regarding rumours etc and we have a big full house behind the boys can start the year with a big performance.
Bristol's pack looks a bit lighter than ours and Hughes certainly doesn't appear to be anywhere near the player he was a couple year of years back.
Fitz Harding looks very good but our back row is the big difference to me
🤞

Happy New Year everyone. A tough one to predict. Bristol have been poor this season, until last weekend, when they looked very good against Tigers. We have obviously been out of sorts ourselves. As Zyder says, if we play like we did in Glasgow we could be in for a long afternoon!
I can see Bristol edging it, so I'm going Chiefs 24 Bristol 35. I really hope I'm wrong as I have an irrational dislike of Pat Lam, no idea why but there's something not quite right!

Down to the two front rows for me, if ours can best theirs then we might shade it by five or six points. If not, then it could be a long day. New year so we'll go with the positive outcome, Chiefs 17 Bristol 12

Difference of opinion down here with Mrs PC going for a narrow loss 21 - 23 while I think the precise opposite result 23 - 21.
Hope the East Terrace Upper is not too much of a disappointment.

26-17 to Exeter just because it’s at home. Would have been more confident with Gray playing

You can reverse that for us.
After the first half I felt you guys were going to thump us.
2nd half your boys seemed to go off the boil and we started to play a little better.
Congratulations on the win. See you at Ashton. Gate

the weakness was at loose head again, maybe Nixon could play there when our other tighthead props are back.

I thought after the first two or three scrums we got he upper hand and Sinkler was hooked so Hepburn couldn't have been that bad. Nixon had his best game for us but we sorely need Harry and Marcus to be back fit soooooooooooon.
