Exeter Chiefs four game winning run in Gallagher Premiership Rugby ended with their 31-35 reversal at Worcester in Round 20.

The Chiefs have lost only once at Sandy Park in any competition since November: 26-27 to Wasps in Round 15 of Premiership Rugby.

Leicester Tigers only defeat in their last six Gallagher Premiership Rugby matches was 27-34 at Saracens on 5 March. The Tigers have lost three of their last four away games in Premiership Rugby.

Leicester won 34-19 when the two sides met at Welford Road in Round 1 and have not achieved a Premiership Rugby season’s double over the Devonians since 2014/15.

The Tigers have lost on their last six visits to Sandy Park.

Capstick at lock is an odd decision for me, especially with Witty on the bench. Would also prefer Jack M over Sam, but what do I know! I will start the predictions with my lucky negativity, Chiefs 22 Tigers 31

Can't see us getting anything from this game. Chiefs 17- 31 tigers

I think this might just be too big a mountain to climb. How does one stop Nadolo in full flow? Reminds me of Jonah Lomu in his prime. Leicester have great confidence and consistency at the moment, so although it will be a tremendous battle, I think Leicester will win 30-22. Do hope I am completely wrong and talking out of my hat.

I agree with all of the above except that Leicester can afford to lose this game and we can't. If we can keep our heads in the right place then I think that we will win but if we can't it could be a long old afternoon.

Lineout is probably crucial, we won't get much change out of them at scrum time so we have to have parity at the set piece. If the lineout is as poor as it has been recently then we're toast.

That's a confident, full on Tigers side and we're still a way off that. If it were a Saturday afternoon with a full sandy park cheering us on I'd be more optimistic. But sunday/mother's day affected crowd (you can still but tickets in the library now!!!???!) I don't think our 16th man will be fully fit... chiefs 12 Tigers 28.... hope I'm wrong

Chiefs have won 8 out of the last 10 games with Tigers, however my gut feeling is that this might be a tough one:

Home advantage is a big thing, I'm confident we have selected the right team ,just need them to click, could be low scoring, two good defences, discipline as always will be the key. Our bench could just be the difference if it's close in the last quarter. Ford has his kicking boots on it could just be the difference, he is a great tactician.

Did something of a double-take on reading that as it seemed a bit of a contradiction, but it's absolutely right. So, as ever looking for reasons to be cheerful;

Since Christmas, Tigers have lost away to Wasps, Sale and Sarries, and beaten Bristol by 2 points and Bath by 4 points.

So, do we see ourselves in the former group or the latter (rhetorical question btw!).
As for Nadolo, well we've beaten Leicester sides with him in before!

I am going for a win based on needs must. Lose and I think the chance of a top four has gone - so it may just give us the edge but only a top performance will win it. If we fall of tackles and do not win the breakdown it could be a long afternoon. Several key areas for me in the game is not letting them in to our 22 with soft penalties. Defence of their rolling maul. Do not kick all our possession away to their back three - Steward is brilliant under the high ball. We need to keep possession and win the breakdown and limit our kicking. Not so worried re scrum - more the lineouts and Ford's positional skill and spiral bombs if we give him too much good possession. Chief's 36 Leicester 32. Hope for a game with no cards and no more serious injuries.

Mrs Pessimistic is living up to her name, Chiefs 27 Tigers 31.
On the other hand Mr Blind Faith is HOPING for a win, 24 - 21.

Nothing is easy to predict these days and both sides will want to impress, with Hogg missing and on his day he would be crucial , not sure the backs would be secure enough, Up front it looks good so on our day and i mean on our day with a little luck i think chiefs 17 tigers 13.

Beautiful day so could see a lot of points. If we retain ball and make the Tigers forwards work, we may benefit in the last quarter. When I saw the lineups I thought we would struggle.
