Strong line up again isn’t it? Will be good to watch the Chiefs playing for Pirates too.
Not as one sided as last week but I’d still be surprised if it wasn’t a heavy score.

Rob has done what we expected, good young team, against good opponents with loans on show. As mentioned should be a win, but Pirates will put up a better fight than last week.

Expect the Pirates will give us more of a match than Bristol and our lineup doesn't look quite as strong this time around.

Ethan Rootes made captain in only his second game for the Chiefs.
Think Chiefs will win but expect Pirates will play with passion and think the score will be 40-17.

Looking forward to this as unable to go last week.
I think Pirates will give us a game and hoping it’s entertaining……like to think we will be too strong for them but no silly score like last week
Chiefs 42 Pirates 21

Really looking forward to this. Pirates will put up one hell of a fight thats for sure and it will be a much sterner test than last week. This is above all the fixture i have missed the most over the years!

Looking forward to a more competitive match than last week, but expect us to be too strong for the Pirates this time.

This will be more of a balanced match up than last weekend.
Expect Chiefs to win but the Pirates will come to SP with tails up after a good performance against Bath.

At least no one can complain that this isn't a development fixture for Ex, with Iwan Jenkins, Dan John, Arthur Relton and Oli Burrows playing....🤣

Enjoyable game. I thought Sir had a pretty good start, but perhaps lost it towards the end ... at least with lineout calls. I hope Frosty isn't too injured as his pace was missed when he went off. Good work from Rus and worthy MotM and a needless to say it was always exciting to see what Josh and Ben were going to do with a little space. The future's bright!

Well done to thestokecanon for getting the Chiefs' score correct and within a point of the Pirates' score, and also to Ex58 and ExeterFan for predicting the Chiefs' score. Honourable mentions to those of you who now have 5 points for predicting scores within 1 point of one team or the other.
You may note I've added a little extra jeopardy to previous years' competitions; should two or more players accumulate the same number of points, the player who does so by predicting the outcome of the fewer number of games will be ranked the higher. Not that, in reality, it makes a blind bit of difference since, as I found out last season, you get nothing but bragging rights if you win ............................ and don't forget, no-one likes a bragger
Just to add, Alain le Chief asked after the Bristol game how the points were awarded. I've noticed this week that should you predict a points difference the same as the actual score, you are awarded a bonus point, which ExTeddChief received this week (although you don't seem to get this if you predict the actual scores)!!?? Please don't blame me - our friends on the Saints forum (I believe) were kind enough to give us the scoring model and spreadsheet.

Clearly there’s a downside to using a nickname near the end of the alphabet (as well as failing to submit my prediction…)
