Interesting Warriors selections, strong backline while also throwing in a brand new starting hooker. Our bench looks good and got to expect a win after last week’s narrow loss.

Going through the team sheets player by player, with the exception of the half backs, i genuinely think that we have the edge.
We need Cairns and Skinner to have a good match, but there is plenty of strength and options coming off the bench to manage that if they struggle.
Scott Cummings will be a nuisance at the lineout so I hope that Yenz and Frosty are on target.
But I'm optimistic. Chiefs 37 Warriors 21

I think you're thinking of Duncan Weir from at least 5 years ago. His form has been in the drain and is more than likely seeing his final year of contract out. Ross Thompson is definitely out of favour with Franco Smith and he's been playing NZ born Tom Jordan who came to Scotland cause he never even had a Mitre Cup club and wanted to see a bit of the world. He's come good but not ripping up trees. The back row is also on its bare bones but good to see Matt Fagerson back. Starting debut for the hooker who was playing club rugby with Jordan is also a head scratcher. Exeter will batter us, I think the coach has looked at the group and decided he only needs to win one game and is going for Toulon in our last match in a winner qualifies, loser out view. Chiefs by around 20.

I sadly agree with my fellow Warrior. This is a bare bones sort of team. Any Exeter fans expecting to see a good match up are likely to be disappointed. Comfortable home win.

I've always rated Duncan Weir although I probably haven't seen that much of him recently. If you're right about the 20 point margin, I hope that its because Ex play well rather than Glasgow play poorly. Good luck and enjoy the game in any case.

ESW how does this team compare with that which beat Bayonne away last month? That was quite an achievement! Hopefully we’ll manage to do the same next week.

Similar overall (though we did at least have 2 wingers to start that game!). But key differences being we're weaker at 10 with Weir instead of Thomson and there's a fair bit less heft in the starting second/back rows. To be fair, none of us expected a result in Bayonne either!

interesting to see how O'Loughlin goes at 12, I dont think Devoto or Hawkins have been that great at 12 and not as good a Hendrickson was at the start of the season.
surprised to see Postlewaite instead of Dunne on the bench. Postlewaite for me is dead wood

I too had been predicting losses for Chiefs and been happily wrong, last week I went for a Chiefs win and was still wrong! I'm quite hesitant to predict a win this week!! I do feel if we start anywhere near as good as we did last week we'll win with ease. I also believe we'll miss Daf, he's been immense this year. We conceded a lot of points with him off the pitch last week and our lineout looks much better with him in it.
Going on our home form and the lack of belief from our Scottish friends I'm going for Chiefs 33 Glasgow 19

Maybe hoping the Munster result goes their way this week and try to get a result at home next week. They may be happy with a chance at the Challenge Cup and I think they'll know what they have to do by the time they play us
