Quins are off the boil this season, probably needed to get rid of a few of the old guard last season and recruit or develop their own, which, typically the London based clubs are very poor at.
Quins didn't even develop their own Womens Prem team, rather they just absorbed and rebranded the old Aylesford Womens Prem Team about 7/8 years ago.

Chiefs will rattle a good number on Quins

In Rob we trust.
By the way - cream on first. There's nothing to debate.

A game where we got out of jail.. No territory in the second half apart from five minutes when we scored a try. Given nothing by the ref in the scrum and frequently penalized in the breakdown. Quins passing by threequarters excellent and accurate and lineout faultless. Killdunne the best player on the pitch. We were saved by our defence which was brilliant. Decent crowd 1800+. Claudia Macdonald a worrying time at the end with a nasty looking injury but thankfully walked off loudly applauded by a large section of the crowd who stayed until she was on her feet. A good feeling reflecting how important and liked she is; hope she recovers well in time for the red roses games.

A good summary, CC. I'd add that we let ourselves down with some poor passing, and Quins on the other hand made passes that just weren't realistically possible. That's not to take anything away from their willingness to try it, just that fortunate definitely favoured the brave.

In Rob we trust.

Annoyed to not get the win but credit to Quins, they knew they owed us a beating and did their best to give it to us.
