Great to see Emily Scarratt back in action. Hope Claudia M is recovering well from her nasty head knock. Penalties with Scarratt in their side could be expensive in points and territory. Still think we will be too strong at home. Chiefs 42 Loughborough 26

Claudia MacDonald has been ruled out of the W Six Nations because of a neck injury. Hopefully not too serious, as she’s had a similar injury before.
hi Scottish Chief,
Thanks for the update on Claudia. Hope the injury is not too serious and she recovers completely. I hope the specialist can sort it so she can get back playing. Worrying - wish her well.

Interesting how few posts there are about this game or women's rugby in particular. Saturday was a hugely enjoyable day. There was a University match to watch v Edinburgh, the game against Loughborough and for those who wanted to splash out £50-£65 they could have some decent food with it and watch the Irish game afterward in the warm. The University had some great support and for the women there was a crowd of about1800. That is a big crowd for women's rugby but it amazes me that there are not more people come. the game itself we won comfortably in the end and so did the Uni. Lots of running, passing, big tackles, points and not too much kicking. There was a lot of quality rugby played which was easy to relate to. At a time when we worry about club finances when there are no men's games why is the support limited. Brian Moore was correct when he spoke up for the women's game.
The Uni game was a game of two halves. Ediburgh had our backs against the wall for the bulk of the half and we were lucky to be only down by 2 at the break...and then Exe just stepped it up in the second half.
Very nice win for the Chiefs later on though, don't think they've secured a playoff spot yet but it's not far off surely.
Unfortunately I missed the games due to being on the Hospiscare Mens Walk. It was a great day and I see Chiefs have arranged something similar that I might have been interested in, but at £50 I'll be declining. It smacks of greed. The Hospiscare event was just £20 and we raised another £500 to help the cause.
In Rob we trust.
By the way - cream on first. There's nothing to debate.
