Always good to get an away win.

That was a really hard fought victory, with a try in the final minute - well done to our ladies! Makes the trip up to Franklin’s Gardens worthwhile. Very strong defence from both teams largely cancelled out the attacking intent and when Taylor Perry was red carded in the final quarter (for head contact in the tackle, I think), I thought the game might slip away from us. But the rest of the team really knuckled down and, after a period of sustained pressure, managed to get a penalty which Alex Tessier kicked straight to the 5-metre line. Pretty much the entire team then joined in the resultant maul, going over for the winning try. I’d love to see some of the women’s spirit and determination injected into the men’s team!

It sounds like they had a real battling spirit till the end. Would have been a nail biting match to see.

Susie wasn't happy with the red card decision, it'll be interesting to see the outcome of the hearing.

The red card hearing has been held, and the red card dismissed, describing it as 'a rugby incident without malice'

Good news and Taylor is in the 10 shirt for Sunday.
