Cueto wasn't in touch, at least in my dreams.

Hopefully we are too strong in a game that has now lost all of its relegation possibilities for either club.

Surprised to see Skinner at 15 instead of Hodge (with Hammersley starting on the wing). I wonder what the reasoning is?

All the jeopardy has gone, sadly. But hopefully both teams will be playing for pride.

Showing up on TNT sports 5 on my EPG and recording if you've set all PRL games to record.

A dead rubber, but one both sides will be wanting to put a marker down for next season, so I think it'll play like there's a lot more at stake.

Ben Stevenson will certainly score a try and Callum Chick probably will too. Nevertheless I’m going for:
Chiefs 26, Falcons 19

Main thing for me is for us to play attacking rugby , even if we come unstuck, with less kicking. I think its may be close as miracles do not happen instantly and we have only just changed our head coach. Chiefs 42 Newcastle 34.

Clearly Baxter has taken the view people who have turned down contracts to stay with us will not play, I’m fine with that.
Lots missing injured but that’s an opportunity for others to shine. Think it will be closer than many people think, Falcons strength is the maul and we are hopeless at defending that play so they will score points. Discipline will be key.
Chiefs 36 Newcastle 31.

Skinner can defend, so think we will get a healthy win tomorrow. Speed on the wings and solid centres will give us good shape if we keep hold of the ball.

I agree, I too think it will be closer than a lot of people have predicted. Our back row is very lightweight and we are really lacking big ball carriers. Confidence will be low for both teams, a few early tries one way or another could see heads drop. Glad Henry is fit to play, and at center, we look a better team with him there.

I'm going Chiefs 22 Newcastle 17.

It is though a tough one to predict, lets hope to see some good running rugby, with hopefully some good defence, actually any defence would be an improvement!!

How wrong was I?! Looked more like the season written off completely and the duration of the game was just taking time away from their plans for the post season holiday. Very disappointing.
