Can easily see us playing with that Hunter-infused spirit but on that awful 4G pitch and considering their stronger bench, I think Gloucester have this.

Gloucester 38 - 28 Chiefs

Cueto wasn't in touch, at least in my dreams.

The question is: "will our customary three tries be sufficient to beat a free scoring team like Gloucester?" I think the answer is a resounding "no" . Nevertheless I'm hoping that we don't fluff our lines like usual and score a few more, so I'm going for an unrealistically optimistic:
Gloucester 26; Chiefs 33

Glaws 25 Chiefs 35. We have a good recent record at Kingsholm.

I'm going to be optimistic and predict a LBP with the increasing familiarity of style and team. Glaws 32 Chiefs 28.

Gloucester 39 - 34 Exeter

Gloss look strong on paper especially their front rows, we should have gained a bit of confidence from last week's performance but still feel we'll struggle, hoping for at least 1 LBP, Gloss 31 - 26 Chiefs

Feeling optimistic after the Bath game, but Gloucester have more to play for. Expect a close game, heart over head, Glos 27 - 30 Chiefs

PB-B to score a hatric and Chiefs to win 28-22. Nothing like a bit of optimism.

A tough ask against a fully fit Glaws team who basically have to win to have any chance of the playoffs, add to that the awful playing surface. I just hope we play with freedom, certainly a try bonus point should be there as defence is not their normal strength but they are so dangerous ball in hand. The gulf in quality of the respective 9 and 14 should tip the balance in Glaws favour, do we not have other options on the wing?

Glaws 40 Chiefs 24

I watched the Gloucester home fixture against Bristol and they were outstanding in attack, if we give them space and broken field we could be on the end of a walloping, they could easily have put 60 plus on Bris. Don't give them time and space like sarries did and they look very beatable. Both Greg and Ross playing indicates we will try and play a quick game ourselves. Hopefully, we play as last week, with effort and enjoyment. Strange selection at nine for me I thought Cain's had a good game last week, and we looked worse when he was replaced. Great to see Roots back he adds some much needed physicality. We need to keep the ball away from Carreras, he's looked in excellent form. Think the pitch and the bench will be the difference, Gloucester 42 Chiefs 24

Tough call this one but its glouc 38 chiefs 28 they need the points have a fast side and are just a tad better than us.

Gloucester 46 Chiefs 24 We still have our weaknesses at 9,10,14 and likely tackling issues an high ball and exiting problems but all OK if we continue to show some progress in the tactics as we showed last week. Every week we see changes make me more confident that Rob Hunter is on the right if long track to recovery.

Agree awful pitch could be deciding factor, could be another high scoring game like us against Bristol. Glaws 42 Chiefs 36!

StanWilks - I'm a traditionalist, and would have preferred if we had installed the top quality Desso Grassmaster hybrid at Kingsholm....but we put in a cheaper (and poor quality) hybrid, which failed. That led to the "plastic" pitch, which I'm not 100% happy with - although its unique benefit is that it has a "shock-absorber" layer, like the best artificial American Football pitches.
But the trend is clear - Apart from Worcester, we now have artificial pitches at Newcastle, Saracens, Cardiff, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Ulster and Connacht. (And Cinderford nearby to us in the Forest of Dean are now installing one for their League 2 West games!).

Thanks for taking the time to reply. It definitely has become a trend. Considering the unreliability of the weather, I can understand why teams have them. They must be much easier to maintain.

I just feel for the players who have to play on them. Haha.

Best wishes for the game today!

Dear dear dear humiliated or what ,all over the place seems to have no direction or leader. How have we become this poor? lack of quality players and boys that are 2 years behind. Lets hope we can at least redeem a bit of pride.

Im lost for words.

The players look like they'd rather be at the beach. This is why relegation is important.

You nailed it exactly. No direction, no leadership. I cannot for the life of me see what the hype around Dafydd Jenkins is all about.

This. To be honest, I think a fair few of us have probably emotionally checked out for the season. Optimistic for the new season with the new players arriving, for the new coaching team to get their ideas in place and practice, but pretty much done with this one.

Shocking - no other word for it.
At 54 mins, 60:7 ... 10 tries conceded and could be much worse was it not for Carreras only hitting 5 conversions.
Massive amount of work needed if we're not to repeat this next season.

In Rob we trust.
By the way - cream on first. There's nothing to debate.

Its humiliating, and disappointing from every perspective but the problem is that there's no jeopardy.

It doesn't actually change anything materially for the club.

It would be nice if we could just declare now and forfeit the next three games, because I doubt that they will be pretty.
