Both teams appear to be rotating. I think Racing will be just too strong but I'm saying bonus points so.

I would be delighted with a point but fear it could be a very difficult afternoon.

Well last week we were mostly all surprised that we hadn't rotated more! This week we've not just rotated, we've fielded a prem cup side! I would imagine Racing will be far too strong, but who knows! They were awful against Ulster! I'm going Racing 42 Chiefs 19. Great experience for the younger lads though

The Racing team is close to the one thrashed by Ulster last week so nowhere near their best team. I do however fear another Sale prem cup where our pack was totally outpowered and outplayed giving our backs nothing to play with. No size or bulk in the pack just confirms as a club outside of our first choice players there is not much in reserve.
Dropping Coen in at 10 with next to no men’s rugby under his belt is a tough one for him particularly if the pack are on the back foot. Our best chance of getting points in my view is to play a total running game but not sure it’s in our DNA any more.

First thoughts when I saw the Chiefs lineup was "what the hell is that?". I do believe this tournament is winnable on current form but if Racing are also taking their foot off the gass we shall see what happens. Going to lean towards cautiom though.

Racing's second row are several levels above ours but at least a certain J Hill is not playing. I think, given next week's fixture, this is good chance for more "men's" rugby for the younger lads.

Well it will be an interesting watch if I can get to see it. I understand why Bax is prioritising the Premiership and perhaps he thought that Racing would field a stronger team so felt that this wasn't going to be winnable. But I think it could be. It sort of depends how this side has performed together in training and how familiar they are alongside each other.
But I do feel that a win is optimistic now. A bonus point would be a good result, two would be fantastic. In hope rather than expectation....

Interesting team selection and given that Racing 92 also doesn’t seem to be going full on it makes for an interesting match up.
Would love an away win but a LBP can make all the difference next month.

Do we know whether this one will be on Premier Sports? I can't find it on their website, but I couldn't find last week's fixture on there either until shortly before it started.

As I have no idea about the Racing team and don’t recognise any names I’m going against the flow, maybe heart over head. And I’m sure all our boys will play as if their lives depends on it.

Ive been told that it isn't on Pemier. What a farce rugby TV coverage has become.
Ive found it on France TV, but can't be certain that it will work with a VPN. Hopefully it should. Otherwise its €8 on EPCR Tv
Link to the match on France TV is here [www.france.tv]

No idea but in France a losing bonus point would be some achievement. Four tries would also be brilliant but do fear a bit. because of that ulster loss at home they will want a performance. Racing 46 Chiefs 15

I'm watching (I use the term very loosely) Rouen v QRM live on France TV at the moment via NordVPN*. I had to register using a French postcode (I used 75006 which is in Paris) but have a perfectly watchable 1080p stream.
* this is a paid VPN but there is a free one called ProtonVPN. I've no idea what it's like but it gets good reviews in the tech press.

Racing should have enough to see us off, even though they got humbled with a fairly similar side last week.
It'll be great experience for our backs to come up against a 98 cap international in Gael Fickou, if he gets ball he could rip us to pieces. So lets hope he doesn't. Great chance for our younger./backujp players to get some experience. Imagine their next chance will be the away fixture at Stade Francais and the Prem Cup so a chance to stake claims.

As EF says, Racing have the wherewithal to beat us but after that hammering last week it makes me wonder how interested they are in this competition, They're not going that well in the Top14 and may want to concentrate their efforts on that. I suppose they may be a different proposition at home (albeit, not their indoor sports hall) but I feel strangely positive

To those who have figured out a way to watch it (especially if you've paid to do so), be sure not to miss the start, which I believe is probably 1300 GMT. Various sources, including Devon Live and the first post on this thread have it as 1400, which I think would be CET.
