PFA Team Of The Season

Dean Whitehead and Carlos Edwards have been named in the PFA Championship team of the season.

After playing well all season, Dean Whitehead and Carlos Edwards have been rewarded with places on the PFA team of the season for the Championship 06/07.

 

The team of the season looks like this:

 

GK: Matt Murray(Wolves)

DF: Graham Alexander(Preston), Gareth Bale(Southhampton), Darren Moore(Derby), Curtis Davies(West Brom)

MF: Jason Koumas(West Brom), Carlos Edwards(Sunderland), Dean Whitehead(Sunderland), Diomansy Kamara(West Brom)

ST: Michael Chopra(Cardiff) & Garry McSheffrey(Birmingham)

 

The team was voted for by every player in the Championship. Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United won both the Players' Player of the Year and the Young Player of the year awards.
