Roy Keane's Sunderland win Promotion to the English Premier League.

3rd place Derby County have today lost 2 goals to nill against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park stadium in London.

 

The results means both Sunderland and Birmingham are promoted to the English FA Premier League afte only one year in away from top flight football. Derby will now seek a promotion place through the Championship Play-Offs.

 

Sunderland will look to finish the season in first place and win the Championship trophy when they travle to already relegated Luton Town next Sunday. Birmingham will play Preston in a big game which could see Preston finish in a play-off position and/or Birmingham winning the league.
