Rooney apologises for rant

WAYNE ROONEY has issued an apology for his outburst at Englands travelling fans after their dreadful loss against Algeria on Friday night. As he made his way to the dressing-room he mouthed into a TV camera: “Nice to see your home fans booing.”
That was Wayne Rooney’s response to the booing and jeers aimed at the England team by a section of the fans. Yesterday Rooney admitted that he had been wrong to criticise the fans. He admitted:
“I said things in the heat of the moment out of frustration of our performance and the result. For my part I apologise for any offence caused by my actions.”

Agreed.
There is more chance of Carly saying sorry for going out for a few drinks friday night and coming home at half 5 in the morning sambuka'd off her face.
