Will we miss McGeechan if he goes to Bath?
Geech - Barff-bound?

Is Ian McGeechan – sorry, SIR Ian McGeechan – going to Barff and will we miss him if he does? In the midst of deafening silence from official quarters, it’s been reported that he’s going to be DoR at the Rec next season, the first of what people are saying are going to be many high-profile signings by the new owner.
So has Sir Ian made much difference since he was enrolled as a consultant at Kingsholm a couple of months ago?
Has his role as a sounding board for Bryan Redpath worked, or not?
If it has, why is he said to be going to Barff?
Can’t Glaws afford him?
Or is he not wanted?
There’s no doubt that the rugby played by Glaws in the last third of the season has been better than in the first two thirds, and their best form of the whole campaign came in the first half against London Irish at the weekend.
But how much of that is down to the experienced Scot?
Let's face it, since he joined the club, we haven't hard a great deal about his role have we?
The Times is one of several papers reporting that the deal is all but done and McGeechan will work alongside coach Steve Meehan at the Rec next season.
But if he really is as good as everybody appears to think he is and if his presence has made a difference in recent weeks, are Glaws making an effort to keep him at Kingsholm?
Or does he not offer good value for money?
Or are Bath making him an offer he can’t refuse?
