Tough Pre-Season

Nigel Davies has lined up our toughest ever pre-season. Trips to Toulon and Munster are followed by two games on the same night against Plymouth and the Scarlets ...

The first team games should set us up nicely for the start of the season - as long as we come out if it all without too many knocks.

The Heineken Cup winners are first up on August 9th [it's a Friday if you want to make a long weekend of it].

Currently there's a gap before the next game which sees us travel to Munster on Saturday the 24th followed by the double header the following Friday.

Certainly a bit tougher than last year with Toulon in the mix. Going to be hot in SW France at the beginning of August. Presumably the two games at home will be mix and match games rather than First XV against Scarlets and a Second XV against Albion?

No, it will be the first XV starting in both games, with no one on the bench.
