Season Written Off ?

Can't wait until next season - but what can we do for the next nine months? Gloucs have reacted to the capitulation against Edinburgh by announcing yet another big name signing for the next campaign in the shape of British Lion's hooker James Hibbard ..

He'll join All Black John Afoa in pre-season training so the pack will definitely be beefed up for next season.

However, flanker Akapusi Qera is leaving Kingsholm for French side Toulouse which will no doubt help balance the wage bill.

Until next season we'll have to soldier on with what we've got, and those that we do have will probably not be too motivated by the fact they know they won't be first choice next season, if you follow my drift. Good job Warriors are showing no signs of getting better.

The pack has been our problem all season but against against the Scots we were at times back to vintage Glaws forward play earning us a penalty try.

Unfortunately three pens from  Jack Cuthbert, and a try for centre Ben Atiga was enough to overturn last week's victory north of the border. Edinburgh deserved their 16-10 victory in the rain and mud and now our Heineken Cup campaign is back in the melting pot.

Breating Munster at Kingsholm is now a must and a decent result at Perpignan would not go amiss.
