Our LV=Cup campaign has run out of steam despite a fighting display by a young and adventurous side at Parc Y Scarlets. The home side eventually triumphed by 13-7 ...

Billy Burns breaks to score a try during the LV= Cup match at Parc Y Scarlets, Llanelli.

Billy Burns danced through three tackles to score our try [above] after the Scarlets went in at the break leading 5-0.

His conversion gave us the lead but Scarlets got their noses back in front when we were penalised for holding on and Josh Lewis took the three points.

Burns was just short with a penalty himself before the game was clinched in the dying minutes when home centre Warren found the space to go over.Gloucesters Jonny Bentley looks onto a scrum during the LV= Cup match at Parc Y Scarlets, Llanelli.

It means our interest in this Cup is now over but there was lots of encouragement in the team selected by Andrew Stanely who was in charge on the night.

Jonny Bentley returned from his loing term injury with Andrew Bulumakau and Drew Cheshire making their debuts.
