Laidlaw Latest To Sign

Scottish skipper Greig Laidlaw is the latest Glaws Galactico. He'll join next season and it appears that it's the No 10 shirt that he's most likely to be wearing ...

Of course, he plays both scrum-half and fly-half and  will bring a wealth of experience thanks to his 27 caps. He'll join Richard Hibbard and John Afoa as we look to learn the lessons of this season.

Laidlaw is the kind of signing we need to make if we are to start competing with the likes of Saints who gave us a lesson in finishing at the weekend. We'd done reasonably welltop keep them at bay until the last quarter but three tries from Tom Stephenson, Alex Waller and Will Hooley blitzed us.

The result was a 39-13 defeat and, to be honest, we can have little argument. We managed just one try from Henry Trinder .
