Hail King Billy
Twelvetrees

What does Billy Twelvetrees have to do to convince some people he is worth his England place ?
During the Five Live commentary [ some of us have family commitments on Sunday afternoons] the commentary team widely discussed the fact that all England had to do was to find a "creative 12" to have a real chance of winning the World Cup.

With those words ringing in my head I caught up on the video recording and wondered if the commentators had spotted who had put in that superb grubber kick for Luther Burrell to score [above]. That was probably the most significant attacking play of the game and took a real rugby brain to make it happen.
Fortunately Stuart Lancaster has a more wordly view of things and has been quick to praise the ever improving Twelvetrees - not only for his sterling defensive work but also for his attacking acumen.
Both he and Tom May can look forward to being part of next year's Wolrd Cup.

All Billy can do is keep on doing things right and develop his partnership with Burrell and hopefully his face will eventually fit.
I'm liking the way the two wings are operating at the moment as they both offer something different so hopefully Jonny May can keep his place as well.
