Still On The Hook?

We are still waiting with baited breath for the official word but the lack of denials means it certainly looks as though James Hook is Kingsholm bound ...

Whopever is pulling the strings behind the scenes is doing a great job, and whoever gets the top job will come in to find some real talent staring back at him from the dressing room benches.

No doubt Hook has been lured back from Perpignan by the arrival of Richard Hibbard, John Afoa and Tom Palmer and it may well be that Greg Laidlaw will be at scrum half alongside Hook.

Very good team being built for next year and IF they click we should all have a better season than this one, it surely cannot be worse.

As long as the players come in fit in. Gloucs is very much a community and there's no room for prima donnas- not that I think there is any evidence that any of these boys are anything other than top professional players.
We have some class signings and all we need now is a DoR to get the best out of them.

Its not the wendy ball game ! Anyone who gets above themselves on a rugby training pitch quickly gets put in his place .
Frankly I cant wait for the new season but spare a tho9ught for Nigel Davies who must be wondering where he would be now if he'd been able [allowed] to sign this calibre of player last summer.
