Tindall Exits

Mike Tindall has decided to call it a day. The 35 year old centre has not been offered a continuation of his coaching role at Kingsholm and no doubt that has influenced his decision to end his illustrious playing career ..
After moving from Bath in 2009 he has featured more than 130 times for the Cherry and Whites, while amassing a throughly deserved 75 England caps and a World Cup winners medal in 2003.
Despite his England connectionshe has left praising club rugby as the biggest motivation n his career and says he will remain a Gloucester supporter.
A host of media opportunities awaits.

I sincerely hope Mike does not sever his connections with the club. To me he is the epitome of a club rugby player doing his best in training and on the pitch and at the same time enjoying the social side of the game which is all too important.
He may have married into Royalty but both he and his good lady are down to earth sporty types who are excellent role models.

Former England Captain as well - that needs mentioning. I think Tindall has been good for rugby and rugby has been good for him.
Typically he has taken his present situation like a man with no sign of sour grapes following the decision not to offer him a new coaching contract.

Last of the World Cup winners of 2003 to hang up his boots. Fantastic contribution to the game.
Good luck Mike

You made your point the first time
- however it was worth making as you are right about our poor tackling last season.
