Hibbard Greeted Fans

They reckon more than five thousand turned out in the pouring rain at Kingsholm on Bank Holiday just to meet the players including the new faces such as Hibbard and Hook. That followed another tremendous try fest when we despatched Munster 45 - 8 ...

There's an air of expectation and excitement around at the moment, which was never in evidence at any stage last season, and credit has to go to the Kingsholm management for their positive reaction to last season.

Munster were missing a few players, but, nevertheless, Glaws played with flair and power and the season can't come soon enough. In the second half tries from Billy Twelvetrees, Matt Kvesic and Elliott Stooke blew the opposition away.
