Work Still In Progress

The Gloucester players have four days of training to get the Chiefs' game out of their system. It's another Friday night on BT Sport for the lads, but with the greatest respect  to London Welsh this time it should be a win...

On reflection there was no disgrace in losing to a hard working Exeter side who played to their strengths, and showed the benefit of being  together for some time.

They won 25-22 but, in truth, the game could have gone either way, and we showed in patches that there is a lot  more to come.

The coaches will be concerned the pack could not continue in the same way as it played against Sharks. There should be at least a couple of changes for the Welsh trip.

One player who will definitely be misising is Henry Trinder  Henry Trinderwho has undergine surgery on the shoulder he injured against Sale. It will be some time before he returns and we are being linked with Tongan David Halaifonua who can play eitehr wing or full back..
