So Far So Good
Cook - First Try
By Cherry Picker

Played six - won three. It's not a bad return when you consider this new Glaws side have faced the likes of Saints and Sarries away and beaten Tigers at home ..
Saints on the fist day of the season saw a crushing 53-6 defeat whereas Saturday's visit to Sarries saw a bonus point 28- 21 defeat. That is measurable progress.
For a time it looked like we would do even better after racing into a 13- lead. Rob Cook's try had Sarries supporters looking worried for a minute or two.
The home side did come back when Chris Wyles charged down a Billy Twelvetrees kick and Alastair Hargreaves buldozed over for their second followed by a typical Ashton effort.
It was an all action display by both sides with not much in it, and we were well worth the bonus point when Tom Savage went over right at the end of the game.
