Best Chance of Silverware

A home quarter final beckons as the European Challenge Cup looks to provide us with our best chance of putting a trophy in the cabinet this season .

We travel to Brtive for Thursday's final group game happy in  the knowledge that we will top the table regardless.

If other results go our way we will get that important home tie, and  none of the clubs left in the competition will fancy a cup knock-out game at Kingsholm. Specially after we showed what we are capable of when we ran in three tries from Billy Burns, Jonny May and Mark Atkinson in the first 12 minutes.

Game won. We went on to cruise to a 33-3 with a number of aspiring players putting down a marker for a more permanent role - Billy Burns notable among them.

Must admit I wasnt getting too excited about only being in the Challenge Cup but the rugby has been a lot better than I expected and its giving us the chance to give some new talent a proper run out.
Can we win it? Of course we can.
