England Under 18 Callum Braley get his first Premiership start for Glaws as basement club London Welsh come to Kingsholm ..

With Dan Robson off to Wasps the door is open  for the young scrum half to stake a claim for a supporting role to Greg Laidlaw next season. The Scottish skipper, of course, will be away on World Cup duty for the first quarter of the season.

Henry Trinder will continue his comeback with a star and there are three changes oin the pack.

Aleki Lutui comes in hooker,  James Hudson is in the second row and Ross Moriarty replaces Gareth Evans in the back row.

At home against a side which has yet to win a game the coaches may well have fancied giving more players some game time. However, they have plumped for a strong bench including Dawiduik and Robson.

Gloucs: Billy Burns; Charlie Sharples, Henry Trinder, Bill Meakes, Henry Purdy; James Hook, Callum Braley; Dan Murphy, Aleki Lutui, John Afoa; Tom Savage (captain), James Hudson; Ross Moriarty, Matt Kvesic, Sione Kalamafoni..

Reps: Dan Robson, Jacow Rowan, Darren Dawidiuk, Yann Thomas, Sila Puafisi, Elliott Stooke, Gareth Evans,  Mark Atkinson.

Meanwhile Welsh have all kind of problems and make no less than nine changes. with Olly Barkley on the bench.

Welsh head to Kingsholm minus five of the starting line up which faced Sale Sharks last weekend, with Koree Britton, Nick Scott, Richard Thorpe, Opeti Fonua and Seb Jewell all injured.

In the backs, Elliot Kear is named at full back in place of Jewell, with Alan Awcock coming into the side on the left wing for the sidelined Scott. Will Robinson and Piri Weepu form a new half back partnership.

In the forwards, Eddie Aholelei comes in at loosehead with Rob Elloway set to make his first Premiership start in place of Britton. Dean Schofield partners James Down in the second row, with Ben West moving from lock to blindside flanker to replace the injured Thorpe. Ben Pienaar starts at Number 8 in place of Fonua.

Dont see the point in making too many changes. We need to get a settled squad together who are all familiar with our style of play and that is starting to emerge so lets not change too many things at once.
