£25m? Let's Have A Whip Round

The Sunday Times seems pretty sure that Gloucs will be sold within the next few weeks. The figure they're putting on ending the Walkinshaw dynasty's ownership of the club is £25m which, on the face of it, seems a pretty decent price .
For that the new owners will get a superb stadium which will host World Cup Games, one of the largest, most loyal and vociferous sets of supporters in the country plus the contracts of some top international players - even though they may not have quite performed to their potential at club level this seaqson.
Hopefully they willl also get a team which will qualify for next season's European Championship by winning this season's Challenge Cup.
We are now in the semi-final thanks to the weekend events, which saw us work hard for as the 14-7 victory over Connacht on Friday evening, followed by the Chiefs easier 48-13 win over Newcastle Falcons.
Fortunately, the semi against a tricky Chiefs will be at Kingsholm on April 18th with a 7.45 kick off. Will we have a new owner by then?

Got to say thank you to the Walkinshaws who have always bought into the Glaws ethos and we still have very much a rugby club feel to the place which isn't the case with some other professional outfits like Sarries and Wasps.
Her's been here a long time so I'd rather have someone who is obviously a supporter as well as an investor take over.
