Kvesic against Exeter
By Cherry Picker
April 17 2015

There's no messing with the team selection this week. The European Challenge cup semi-final is arguably our biggest game so far this season and Matt Kvesic is back as we pick a side to take on our in form visitors.

Charlie Sharples will start at full-back and Jonny May and Henry Purdy switch wings.

As well as Kvesic's return after his rest Mariano Galarza comes in for his debut in place of  Tom Palmer.

Glolucs and the Chiefs have already met three times this season and trhere hasn't been much between the teams so this will be a nail biter with home advanatage a big plus (hopefully).

Gloucs: Charlie Sharples; Jonny May, Bill Meakes, Billy Twelvetrees (capt), Henry Purdy; James Hook, Greig Laidlaw; Nick Wood, Richard Hibbard, John Afoa; Tom Savage, Mariano Galarza; Sione Kalamafoni, Matt Kvesic, Gareth Evans

Reps: Darren Dawidiuk, Dan Murphy, Sila Puafisi, Elliott Stooke, Ross Moriarty, Dan Robson, Billy Burns, Brendan Macken

The Chiefs make only one change from the side which beat Saints 28-10 at Sandy Park last week.  Ben White is ouit with concussion so Kai Horstmann starts.

Chiefs: Phil Dollman; Ian Whitten, Jack Nowell, Sam Hill, Matt Jess;  Henry Slade, Will Chudley;  Ben Moon, Jack Yeandle, Tomas Francis;  Dean Mumm (captain)
Mitch Lees;  Dave Ewers, Kai Horstmann, Thomas Waldrom.

Reps: Elvis Taione, Carl Rimmer, Alex Brown, Sam Skinner, Tom Johnson, Dave Lewis, Gareth Steenson, Tom James

Well that's about as good as it gets at the moment. Should be a nailbiter but reckon we'll do it by a margin of ten points

One or two players need to play to their potential and remember that rugby is a team game. If everyone is on form and on message we should win this game by a two or three try margin.
If we think we've won before we walk on the pitch the commitment which the Chiefs have shown will win the day.

well if they want to play in Europe next season they'll have to get stuck in. Exeter have already booked their place.
